On June 11th, 2004, the Benton County
Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from the Avoca area. Once Deputies
arrived on scene they made contact with a 34-year-old female. She was
transported by ambulance to St. Mary’s hospital in
Rogers
,
Arkansas
, where she later received emergency surgery for injuries she sustained during
an assault. She states that she was picked up at the Best Value Inn Hotel
in
Rogers
by an unidentified white male. She describes the suspect as a larger, heavy set male driving an older model small truck, possibly a
Toyota
. She was then taken to a rural area near Avoca, just north of
Rogers
, where she was physically assaulted. She was then left near a residence
on
Amy Avenue
where the 911 call was made.
