DWI/DUI Task Force

In an effort to keep roads of Benton County safe from intoxicated drivers, the Sheriff's Office developed the DWI/DUI TASK FORCE in 1996. The 3 man team has been effective in preventing countless alcohol related accidents. They have also set a standard in the state for being among the most aggressive in their pursuit of intoxicated drivers. The DWI/DUI task force has also been used to patrol problem areas of Beaver Lake. Their involvement has played a large part in the reduction of alcohol-related accidents and deaths on Beaver Lake.
